LDL cholesterol levels can be lowered with the combination of low fat diet, exercise and medication. First of all in order to bring down the level of this bad cholesterol, diet low in saturated fat should be consumed. There should be more content of fruits, vegetables, low fat dairy products and lean meats like fish and chicken in the diet. In order to reduce the levels of cholesterol fiber should also be included in diet through cereal products, whole grain bread, dried beans and others. Moreover fried food should be replaced with steamed, grilled and boiled food. Regular exercise also helps to keep a check on your cholesterol levels and helps to prevent the fatty deposits and clogging of the blood.
